Hello everyone, and welcome back from the 2010 AMS Conference! I hope you had as great a time as Abby and I did at this year’s rewards conference. Having never been to Maui, it was exciting for us to discover the island and share our experiences with the AMS family. We truly appreciated the opportunity to share in our producers’ success, especially in such a beautiful setting.
As usual, it was our producers that made our time at the conference memorable. I can’t possibly thank all of you enough for your hard work and production that allowed us all to enjoy this great event. From Abby and I, we would like to extend a special “thank you” to:
Wayne Messmer for his incredible one-man show; Rick Clark for dragging me onto the dance floor (that one’s from Abby); Meagan Phelps for letting me drive her rental car on the road to Hana (sorry, Meagan, for our little accident that tore the trim off the side door); David and Julie Gettings for the great conversation at dinner, and for everything you’re doing for our soldiers overseas; Steve Koch, for pulling some strings and getting us onto your snorkel boat; Dennis Cirbo, Tim Rosen, Cathy Larson and Marissa Koch for their incredible vocal performances on the final night; Neil Werberig and Karen Ford, for being such enjoyable golf partners; Jon Maxson for buying me an expensive cup of coffee, as usual; Dan and Amber Benson for joining us on the helicopter ride; Angela Sloan for talking me into going on a helicopter, in spite of my fear of heights; Steve Netzel, for showing an interest in my presentation and asking a question; Jim Geake for being the star of Warren and Annabelle’s magic show; and Dave Williams, for reminding me to just relax, stop worrying, and watch the sunset!
I think we can all agree that there’s nothing quite like an AMS conference. I hope to see you on our Alaska cruise next year.
