1. How do I register for the Symposium?
Registration for the Symposium is now closed.

2. How do I make travel arrangements?
If you would like AMS Travel to make your arrangements for you, please indicate this on the registration form with your preferences. Once you have received your proposed itinerary, please look over the itinerary, sign and fax it back within 24 hours to the Travel Department at 858-935-1214 or email it to travel@assetmarketingsystems.net.

If you prefer to make your own travel arrangements, please fax your itinerary to the Events Department at 858-348-0803 or email it to events@assetmarketingsystems.net. Please note: PBMCs cannot be used to offset payment on flights booked outside of the AMS Travel Department.

3. What if I am driving to the Symposium?
If you are driving to the Symposium, please indicate this on the registration form.

4. Will I be required to give a credit card number at the time of registering for the Symposium?
Yes, you will be required to give a credit card number when you register for the symposium. Your credit card will be charged for symposium registration fees, any airfare booked through AMS Travel, and any additional nights outside of the symposium dates you are staying at The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.. The total credit card charge will be calculated by adding all items listed above minus any PBMC’s used. Credit cards are required even if you will be using PBMC’s at a 100% spend down.

5. Which evenings of lodging does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee covers the evenings of August 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th, 2008 only. No substitutions will be made.

6. If I arrive in San Diego prior to and/or stay after the Symposium dates, how do I make hotel reservations?
The Events Department will book extra nights at The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego based on the dates you fill in on the registration form. Please note that rates for three days pre and three days post are $229.00 per night plus tax (based on hotel availability). The expense of any additional nights will be placed on your credit card.

7. When will I receive hotel confirmation?
Hotel reservations will not be made until we receive a copy of your flight itinerary. You will receive a hotel confirmation from the Events Department on Friday, July 18th via email.

8. What is the schedule of events for the Sales Symposium?
The Symposium agenda is available here. Please check back periodically for further details on event activities.

9. May I take a guest to the Symposium?
Yes, guests are welcome to attend the symposium, but please note there is a $150 fee per guest 7 years or older. Everyone who is traveling with you over the age of 7 must pay the guest fee. The guest fee includes admission to breakfasts, lunches, and the welcome cocktail reception on Sunday evening.

10. Can I bring my family or guests to the Symposium and book an extra room?
Yes, you may bring your family or guests at your own expense. AMS will offer ONE extra room at the group rate of $229.00 per night plus tax. Any additional rooms will be at the hotel’s prevailing rate.

11. Will AMS cover shuttle/taxi expenses from the airport to The Manchester Grand Hyatt? What about on the return trip back to the airport?
Transportation to and from the airport, hotel, or local residence will be your own expense and is not included in the registration fee.

12. Should I rent a car when I arrive in San Diego?
The San Diego International Airport is approximately 5-10 minutes from The Manchester Grand Hyatt, and taxicabs and shuttle vans are always available at the airport to transport you to your hotel. A rental car is at your discretion and will be at your own expense. AMS Travel can make rental car arrangements for you if you would like. Please indicate this on your registration form.

13. What is the appropriate attire during the Symposium?
The attire for all symposium activities is casual and all meeting rooms and all meal functions at the hotel will be indoors.

14. Can I use my marketing credits for airfare and hotel?
Production Based Marketing Credits may be used for Sales Symposium registration fees, airfare, and extra hotel nights based on the AMS Tiered Service Plan. Please refer to the plan for full details or contact your Sales Team if you have any questions.
